Remove the arms.
For details, see «CHECKING WEAR AND REPLACING THE
BRAKING DISCS».
Remove the top cap (1).
NOTE. The cap must be replaced each time the unit is
disassembled.
Remove the microswitch (2), signalling differential lock operation.
NOTE. Check the state of the O-ring (3).
Loosen the lock nut (4) of fork (5) by about 2 turns.
Using a metal punch and a hammer, disengage fork (5) from piston
cone (6).
Using two wrenches, lock piston (6) and remove nut (4).
