Faults related to A10 (Parking Brake solenoid)
Any electrical fault related to the parking brake output is signalled. When such a fault is present, the
parking brake functionality is handled by the brake solenoid connected to A2-A3.
Platform drive is disabled resulting in immediate SHUTDOWN.
In Handler and Cabin Control Mode the machine is forced to stop, after which drive can be resumed
by turning off the parking.
Faults related to A20 (Parking brake lamp)
Faults related to the parking brake lamp are recognized only in following conditions:
shorts to plus are recognized when the lamp is supposed to be on
open circuit or short to ground is recognized when the lamp is supposed to be off
They are flagged but not acted upon.
2.2.9.1 Fault Codes for Discrete Output Faults
81.00
· The output is shorted to Ground
81.01
· The output is not connected or its Plus line is shorted
to Vbat
Note that the first two digits identify the output exhibiting the fault:

2.2.10 Incorrect Input Patterns
The shift lever pattern presented to the APC160 is continuously check for plausibility.
Direction selection related inputs: 40.06
A selection of Forward and Reverse at the same time immediately results in the selection of Neutral.
Neutral can be left only if a valid Neutral signal is first detected.
Range selection related inputs: 41.06
Two inputs are used to encode three ranges, allowing to do some fault checking.
An incorrect pattern is flagged as a fault. During its presence, the last correct position remains
selected.

40.06
· Invalid shift lever direction detected
41.06
· Invalid shift lever position detected
