The driver should request someone to push the joystick completely to the reverse driving position
(away from you when standing on the platform) and hold it while he presses the ‘S’ button.

When the calibration process proceeds the display looks as follows:

The driver should request someone to pull the joystick lever completely towards him (full stroke forward
drive) and hold it there while he presses the ‘S’ button. When one of the led display segments is
blinking, the new calibrated position (full stroke forward) is not far enough away from the center position
to distinguish it well and pressing the ‘S’ button will not continue the calibration process.

When the calibration process is completed and no errors are encountered during the process, the
calibration results are memorized in flash memory and will become active at the next power-up of the
controller. The display looks as follows:

When errors are detected during the calibration process, the calibration results are ignored and the
display looks as follows:

Pressing the ‘S’ button once again returns the display back to the start of the currently active display
mode, allowing the user to re-calibrate the current sensor or to use the ‘M’ button to proceed with the
next calibration mode.

4.2.3 Calibration of the Servomotor Sensor

Enter stand-alone calibration mode and push the ‘M’ button until the display shows:

Press the ‘S’ button to start the servo sensor calibration. If the position of the shift lever is not in
Neutral, the calibration process does not start and the following displays is shown:

If the vehicle is not standing still, the calibration process does not start and the following display is
shown:
