6.6 -18°C STANDARD FOODS DEEP-FREEZING TIME CYCLE
The weight of the product must NEVER be more than 1 Kg.
Insert the hot product into the blast chiller, close the door, set
the blast chiller class as in the “Example blast chiller times
1” table pressing the reference button several times (BUTTON
4) until the desired food class has been chosen. Icon no. 10
indicates class 1 foods; icon no. 11 indicates class 2 foods;
icon no. 12 indicates class 3 foods; icons no. 10 and no. 11
together indicate class 4 foods. Around 5 seconds after
selecting the desired food class, the cycle will start
automatically; the display will show icons no. 8 and no. 13
which are lit at the same time, indicating that the chosen cycle
has started correctly; icons no. 10, no. 11 and no. 12, which
show the time progression, will progressively switch off,
flashing in order. At the end of the cycle, icons no. 10, no. 11
and no. 12 will flash together with a buzzer which will sound
for around 20 seconds; to end the cycle open the door.
If the food being used is not shown in the following
table, it is advisable, for the first few times that the
appliance is used, to implement the "-18°C standard
food deep-freezing cycle with core probe” and to
manually check the time taken so that the food can then
be classified.
