FUNCTION KEYS ON THE
TELEVISION
In Graphic Monitor mode the function keys on the television’s fr
ont
panel have no effect.

THE BASIC OPERATIONS
The basic operations like switching on and off, selecting the signal
source, adjusting volume and using the OSD ar

“Graphic Monitor” mode as in “T elevision” mode. For further details

Info Function
Pressing the
[12]key the system displays the information that
regar
ds the graphic signal in use. This information is automatically
extracted from the signal.

This chapter explains how the television can be
used as a GRAPHIC MONITORwhen it is connec-
ted to an external appliance like, for instance a
computer, DVD, a video game console, etc.

SELECTING THE GRAPHIC
VIDEO SOURCE
Once you have connected the external appliances (like for instance
a computer or video game console, etc.) to the television’s
[H], [G]
and [S]
connectors, you must use the OSD to select the connector
the appliance is connected to before you can view any pictur
e or
image on screen.

Select “Graphic Mode” and confirm: the following sub-menu
appears.
Select and confirm the connector to which you have already con-
nected your external appliance (please r

THE REMOTE CONTROL
In GRAPHIC MONITOR mode, the remote contr
ol allows you to dis-
play the four dedicated menus and their settings, and to adjust volu-
me from the speakers.
