Rimozione della guaina ester-
na dai cavi Stripping the cable

Tagliare il cavo�
Spellare la guaina dal cavo con un
cutter alla lunghezza desiderata nella
tabella 1.
Accoricare il cavo di protezione con le
forbici per Kevlar.
Rimuovere il tubo buffer e il rivesti-
mento secondario con lo spellafili da
0,3 mm.
Rimuovere il rivestimento primario con
lo spellafili da 0,18 mm.
Rimuovere i residui eventualmente
presenti sulla fibra con un panno
morbido.

Cut the cable to length.
Remove the cable cladding using the
cutter according to the dimensions in
Table 1.
Use the Kevlar cutter to shorten the
strain relief cord.
Remove the buffer tube and the
secondary coating using the 0.3 mm
insulation stripper�
Remove the primary coating using the
0.18 mm insulation stripper.
Remove any residue on the fiber using
a soft cloth (microfiber cloth).

Preparare una quantità appropriata di
colla�
Riempire il contatto di colla con una
siringa monouso�
Fare scorrere la bussola a crimpare sul
cavo�

Prepare an appropriate amount of
adhesive�
Fill the contact with adhesive using
the one-way syringe with needle.
Push the crimp sleeve onto the cable.

Introdurre la fibra nel contatto fino
all’arresto. L’estremità della fibra do-
vrebbe sporgere di circa 20 mm dalla
ghiera�

Insert the fiber into the contact until it
stops. The end of the fiber should pro-
ject about 20 mm out of the ferrule.
