• do not touch the machine with damp or wet hands/feet or without protection (adequate gloves
and shoes):
• do not insert screwdrivers, kitchen utensils or other things between the protection and the moving parts;
• only operate on the machine after having disconnected it from the electricity supply
(without pulling on the power lead).
 For any maintenance, removal, installation and cleaning operation on the device, always use the
appropriate prevention and protective devices (gloves, etc.).
INSTALLATION
The machine must be installed and tested in line with the safety regulations, in terms of the
traditional legal system and the laws in force.
MATRICULATION PLATE DATA
How to read the matriculation plate
The matriculation plate data are positioned on:
 1 label on the external cardboard packaging
 2 device plates, positioned at the centre top of the container and below the drawer.
Caution! We recommend that you do not remove, damage or adjust the matriculation plate
attached to the device.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
Before installing the device ensure that the pre-existing electrical system complies with the law and
is adequate for the matriculation data plate of the machine being installed (V, kW, Hz, No. of
phases and available power). The device is supplied with a power cable which is 150cm long with
a standard 16A Schuko plug; the plug should have a 10A fuse and be easily accessible.
Caution! Ensure that the socket is accessible even after having installed the unit!
If the socket is not easily accessible, the power supply should be equipped with a device for
omnipolar disconnection with a contact point gap which enables the complete disconnection at
overvoltage-category III.
Caution! If the entire length of the cable is not used, DO NOT wind it back on itself. Leave if
unwound and ensure that it is not a tripping hazard and danger for people passing; furthermore,
ensure that it is not squashed or folded.
Caution! Ensure that the power cable does not come into contact with liquids of any kind, sharp
objects or hot or corrosive substances.
