INSTALLATION RULES
WARNINGS FOR THE FITTER
This manual is an integral part of the product and supplies all necessary instructions for its correct
installation and maintenance.
It is obligatory, for the user and fitter, to carefully read this manual and to refer to it at all
times; furthermore, it must be kept in a easily accessible and familiar place for all the
authorised users (fitters, users, maintenance personnel).
The device is only destined for the use it was designed for, that is, for vacuum-packing food. All
other uses are improper and potentially dangerous.
The manufacturer declines all responsibility and obligation towards the guarantee if damage to the
device, people or things occurs due to:
• its incorrect installation and/or not following the laws in force,
• adjusting or intervening in ways which are not specific to the model,
• using spare parts which are not original or not specific to the model,
• not observing, even partially, the instructions in this manual,
• not observing the safety regulations and the laws in force during installation.
INTRODUCTION
The installation must only be carried out by authorised and specialised personnel in line
with the instructions and the indications in this manual.
Before installing the device ensure that the pre-existing electrical system complies with the law and
is adequate for the matriculation data plate of the machine being installed (V, kW, Hz, No. of
phases and available power).
Furthermore, the fitter must check any fire regulations.
The Manufacturer declares their compliance with the European regulations in force.
TRANSPORT AND HANDLING
The loading and unloading of the device from vehicles can only be carried out using suitable
equipment or by two people.
Caution! The vacuum pump contains oil. Do not remove the packaging and keep the device in a
horizontal position at all times to avoid oil leakage from the pump.
Caution! When handling the device, all necessary precautions must be adopted to avoid
damaging occurring to it and to people or things, by following the instructions on the packaging.
