2) Position the manifold at right angles to the heat pump. The

heat pump line must be connected to the manifold ball valves.

The direction of flow is indicated on the manifold labels.

3) The manifold, supplied with heat pump pipe fittings on the right,

is reversible and can be positioned with heat pump connection

on the left (see “reversible manifold”).

4) Connect (watertight) the main pipe from the heat pump to the

ball valve with a 1 1/4” F connection.

5) Connect (watertight) the main pipes from the geothermal probes

to the manifold with a 1 1/4” F connection.

6) Reclose the insulation and reinsert the temperature gauges in

their pockets.

7) Set up the drain to fit the safety relief valve. The safety relief

valve discharge pipe must not obstruct normal valve operation

and must not endanger people or things.

In accordance with applicable regulations, the safety relief valve

drain must be visible and conveyed to a collection tray using

suitable pipes.

INSTALLATION IN A GEOTHERMAL PROBE SYSTEM

1) Remove the temperature gauges and discharge tundish, then

the front of the upper insulation. To open the lower insulation,

turn it downwards: it won’t come off until the manifold has been

removed. The insulation is attached with velcro strips. This

system makes it easier to open the insulation.

9) Make the electric connections to the pressure safety switch.

8) Connect the earth cable to the pin on the anchoring plate.
