9. ZONE DISPLAY
It displays the number of the zone that is being monitored (from 1 to 8) and selected through ZONE
SELECT (fig. 1, ref. 10)
10. ZONE SELECT
The audio output of each zone can be monitored through a small speaker located on the rear panel. This
feature is particularly useful when you need to test the system or when you need to monitor the audio of
one zone.
When you press ZONE SELECT the display (fig. 1, ref. 9) indicating the zone (from 1 to 8) that will be
monitored will start flashing. Press ZONE SELECT again to switch to the successive zone and when you
get to the zone that you wish to monitor, press ENTER (fig. 1, ref. 11) to confirm selection (if you do not
confirm within ten seconds, the system will go back to the zone previously selected).
11. ENTER
Use this button to confirm selections made through ZONE SELECT (fig. 1, ref. 10) or BMG ALL (fig. 1, ref.
15)
12. OUTPUT LEVEL
Indicates the output signal level of the zone visualized on the Display (fig. 1, rif. 9). To use the amplifier
correctly the volume needs to be set between –20 dB and 0 dB and only the first three LEDs should be lit; if
the last 2 LEDs (+3 dB and +6 dB) light, the output signal could distort and the volume should probably be
turned down.
13. ESC
Exit button. It allows you to leave the selection of the source to monitor or the BGM ALL function without
saving the changes you had started to make.
14. Volume MONITOR
Adjusts the monitoring volume
15. BGM ALL
Use the BGM ALL button to select the same audio source for all 8 zones.
When you press BGM ALL all the displays showing the source playing in their zone (fig. 1, ref. 2) will
indicate “L1” and start flashing. If you press BMG ALL once more, the displays will show “L2” and so on.
Press the ENTER button (fig. 1, ref. 12) to confirm your selection.
If any new choice is not confirmed within ten seconds, the system will go back to its previous settings.
Note:
If the power supply should fail, the BGM setting will be kept
16. PAGE ALL
Gives priority to Mic1 (fig. 2, ref. 14) on all the zones simultaneously.
17. ON/OFF Switch
Flip the switch ON to power the device. The POWER LED will light up.
