1. SOURCE UP & SOURCE DOWN
Use these buttons to select among one of the eight audio inputs, the local channel (L) or no audio source
(OFF)
2. SOURCE CHANNEL DISPLAY
Displays source channels from 1 to 8, local channel L or OFF
3. PAGE BUSY
Indicates that the audio channel is being used by the paging console. It lights up every time the zone is
engaged by the BM8X8 paging console.
4. Led MIC1 PRIORITY
If this LED is on, Microphone 1 has been given priority (fig. 2, ref. 14)
5. MIC1 PRIORITY
Gives priority to the Mic 1 Input (fig. 2, ref. 14) in the corresponding zone.
MIC PRIORITY ON: MIC1 has priority over all other Line inputs (from 1 to 8 and L)
MIC PRIORITY OFF: MIC1 will be mixed with all the other line inputs.
6. MIC1
Adjusts the level of the microphone connected to the MIC1 input (fig. 2, ref. 14)
7. MUSIC LEVEL
Adjusts the level of the audio source selected in the corresponding zone. This control works only if the
ZONE REMOTE CONTROL (fig. 3, ref. 6) is not turned on or, obviously, when the remote control is not
connected
8. MASTER
Adjusts the audio output level in each zone.
The MASTER control is not affected if the ZONE REMOTE CONTROL (fig. 3, ref. 6) is on; it controls audio
sources and MIC1 but does not influence the levels of BM8X8 consoles or the emergency signals.
