ATA Flash Cards (2711-NM2xx)
The PCMCIA Flash ATA Cards are a storage medium for PanelView applications.
The catalog numbers for the memory cards are in the format 2711-NM2xx, where
xx is the capacity of the card in megabytes.
These cards slide into the card slot of a PanelView terminal, an external card drive
or a card drive on a personal computer. These instructions show how to insert the
card in a PanelView.
To install the memory card in a PanelView terminal:
1. Locate the card slot on the back of the terminal.
2. Insert the card in the card slot (with key slot on top, right side) and push
until the card is firmly seated.
TIP TIP
At the time of this printing, the available cards are 2711-NM232. Contact Rockwell
Automation sales for the availability of additional cards.
ATTENTION
Do not subject the memory card to moisture, extreme temperatures, direct sunlight,
flexing or extreme presure. Failure to observe this caution could result in damage to the
card.
ATTENTION
Do not force the card into the slot. Forcing the card into the slot may damage the
connector pins.
