We suggest arranging them properly in the basket so that the opening is facing
downwards.
For heavily soiled pots and pans, it is advisable to use the appropriate programme.

Cutlery
Place cutlery (spoons and forks) with the handles facing down. Arrange knives or sharp
utensils with the points facing downwards or in a horizontal position.
Place other cutlery between spoons to keep them from sticking together.
When you have loaded the basket, before you close the door and start the
dishwasher, make sure that the rotor rotates correctly.
