This section pertained to the operation of the Uchiller controller. This document is also
serves as the supplement to the existing manual.
This chiller is equipped with an upgraded controller that is specifically designed and built
for HVAC application. The controller features many of the parameters that aid the ease
of the diagnostic in the case of failure.
Many of the parameters are pre-selected from the factory. Only a few will require the
input from the operator. They are as follows:
-r1
Cooling set point
-r2 Cooling differential
-c9 Compressor Timer
-cC Pump Timer
To change the set point, press “Sel” key for 5 seconds until the display shows “r1”. Press
“Sel” again to choose the parameter. Using the up or dn arrow to change the set point.
Once desire set point is choose press “sel” to set the parameter. After all parameter are
set, press “prg” key to save the settings.
The temperature display on the control is the discharge temperature reading. It is the
temperature reading from the sensor located in the reservoir, in which the compressor is
cycled based upon.
This chiller is equipped with ON/OFF switch to manual turn on or off the chiller. The
pump will turn on immediately once the switch turns to ON position. Also, you can use
the “DN” arrow key to operate the unit. In the case of components failure the buzzer will
be activated and the displays will show the corresponding malfunction code. If “FL”
appears on the display, the chiller will stop operating, turning the switch, ne xt to buzzer,
will restore the chiller operation. However, the operator MUST check the fluid level
when “FL” shown. See alarm page for list of alarm code. If any parameters need to be
