Intended use (Fig. B)
This product is designed to be applied to the skin
and is for private use only. When the stretched
elastic product is attached to the skin, it transfers its
elasticity to the skin and also forms an additional
textile layer. Modern science indicates that in doing
so, the pressure influences the skin directly below
the product so that the skin alternately ripples and
stretches during the movement of the body part with
the attached product. Based on this, the interaction
can have a stimulating effect on the blood vessels
and skin receptors.
In general, stimulation of the skin and its organs can
have the following effects:
Indication: Based on these assumptions,
the elastic tape can also be used in medicine
to support attempts to treat muscular tension
(neck), postural problems (postural weaknesses),
oedemas (swellings), tendinitis (e.g. inflammation
of the Achilles tendon), and even stimulation of
trigger points, such as treatment of monthly period
complaints.
Do not use in the case of:
• Open wounds
• Skin diseases
• Thromboses
• Treatment using other methods (e.g. Fango,
massage therapies, electrical stimulation therapies)
• Allergies to the product material, adhesive or
carrier.
Safety instructions
• In the case of acute injuries or complex disease
symptoms, product adhesion should be performed
by a doctor or physiotherapist.
• Store the product out of the reach of children.
• If pregnant, please consult a doctor before
attaching the product.
• Do not over stretch the product when attaching it.
There should not be excessive constriction.
• Leave the product on the skin for a maximum of
seven days.
• The body part to be treated must not be
completely wrapped in the product!
• Do not use in the case of skin diseases and
irritations, such as neurodermatitis.
• Should hypersensitivity or allergic reactions occur,
such as itching, reddening or swelling of the skin
where the product is attached, remove the product
immediately.
• Should problems occur while wearing the product,
remove the product immediately and consult a
doctor.
Before use (Fig. A)
The product ends marked with hatching on the
paper films are known as “anchors” and are
attached without being stretched. The area in
between is stretched fully, pressed on with both
thumbs and attached. Avoid touching the adhesive
surface to guarantee the optimum wear duration.
Attaching the product
The product is on a paper backing, which must first
be removed.
Important! Do not touch the adhesive surface of the
product because this will cause the product to lose its
ability to stick.
1. Rip a piece of the paper in the middle (Mark A)
(Fig. C) and pull both ends until the paper
tears (Fig. D).
2. Stretch the product to the hatched areas (Mark B)
(Fig. E).
3. Stick the stretched product to the skin and remove
the paper from the ends (anchors).
4. Stick on the anchor without stretching and rub
over it once more (Fig. F). The resulting frictional
heat activates the adhesive strip.
Application
To attach the product correctly to the skin, we recom-
mend having a second person to help. Attach the
product to the pre-tensioned body part.
Skin preparation
Important! Do not apply cream or similar
substances immediately prior to attaching
the product.
1. Determine the body part to be treated.
2. Shave the area if it is covered in thick hair.
3. Clean the body part with a fat-dissolving product
(e.g. soap or a skin disinfectant).
4. The skin must be dry for the application.
Important! The body part must be clean,
dry and free of grease.
Detail
Acromion in detail (Fig. G)
The acromion is the bone at the end of the shoulder.
Next to it is the muscle that runs in a gentle curve to
the neck.
Head tilt (Fig. H)
By tilting the head, the muscle is prestretched, which
is important when attaching the product.
1. Tilt the head to the side opposite to the shoulder
to which the product is to be attached.
2. Turn the head towards the side that the product is
to be attached to, so that you can feel the muscle
stretching.
Stretch the skin (Fig. I)
Press the anchor (1) on and slide it away from the
place to stick it to (2) so that the skin becomes taut.
Attach the product in the direction of the neck (3).
Shortening the product
The product should not be attached in the hair on the
neck. In this case, only attach the product to the start
of the neck hair and cut the overlapping end off with
rounded edges.
Shoulder
For application to the shoulder, you require two
products. Sit down, holding the upper body straight.
1. Remove the paper at Mark B and stick the end
(anchor) without stretching it to the acromion
(Fig. J). The product points towards the neck.
The person tilts the head as described in the detail
attachment (Fig. H).
2. Stretch the product, slide the anchor away
from the place to stick it to (2) so that the skin
becomes taut (Fig. I), and attach the product in
the direction of the neck (Fig. K and L).
3. The anchor is attached without being stretched.
Firmly rub the product in the direction of the neck.
4. Place the second product on the other side as in
Steps 1 - 3. Check that the head is tilted to the
other side. The product runs from the acromion to
the hairline of the neck (Fig. M).
Cleaning and care
• Protect the product from direct sunlight, rain and
high temperatures.
• When the product has been cut, it can only be
used once.
• Dry the product if it has become wet (e.g. when
swimming, bathing or showering).
Caution: Do not rub the product dry,
as this will cause it to come away from
the skin.
