4. HANDHELD WIRELESS TRANSMITTER USE

1. Three-position switch
OFF position: the transmitter is turned OFF
Central location: the transmitter is turned ON but muted
ON position: the transmitter is operating
2. LOW BAT RED LED
This LED shows the battery status:
• When the microphone is switched ON, the LED will light up for about 1 second.
• If the batteries are charged, the LED will turn off (even if the microphone is switched ON and
operative).
• The LED will light up again if the batteries are nearly exhausted to indicate that they must be replaced
as soon as possible.

MICROPHONE GRILLE
This grid protects the microphone capsule and includes a pop filter. The microphone uses a dynamic capsule
with a cardioid unidirectional figure.
4. Battery Compartment
Unscrew the base of the microphone, insert 2 AA alkaline batteries with the polarity and screw the base back
on.
Note:
• The microphone is also able to operate with 2 Ni-MH rechargeable batteries, but in this case
the operating time is shorter.
• In case of long periods of wireless microphones non-use, itis always advisable to remove the
battery from its housing.
• A sticker in the battery compartment shows the transmitter frequency.
